Clavius Community Notes

Meeting #59: 27 June to 30 June, 2021

Still constrained by the presence of the Covid 19 pandemic, the Clavius group gathered online for its fifty-ninth session. The Zoom platform proved suitable and since travelling was not necessary, the number of members participating was higher than it had been for recent in-person meetings. Although there was no formal seminar schedule as had been followed in the past, several mathematical lectures were given along with talks about the effect of the pandemic on the academic enterprise, artistic presentations, faith discussions, and liturgical and social events.
